James Sera’s Karting Centre
Owner of James Sera’s Karting Centre, James Sera began karting at the age of 10. James discovered his passion for karting when his father took him to the Oakleigh Go Kart Club and while watching kart racing at a club day event. From a young age James showed potential and went from strength to strength, winning many Junior State Championships.
Early into his senior career James went on to drive for the Swiss Hutless Race Team, where he was regularly racing against and beating V8 Super Car stars of today including Mark Winterbottom and Jamie Whincup.
James eventually moved from the Swiss Hutless Race Team back to racing for Arrow as a Privateer, before securing a deal with Melbourne Kart Centre and winning many State Championships including two National Titles in 06 / 07.
For many years James has wanted to transfer his passion and experience into the karting business. An opportunity came up back in 2009 to become a 50% partner with Azzurro Australia. This gave him the exciting opportunity to open James Sera’s Karting Centre. Since then James decided to part ways with Azzurro Australia and has now introduced the all new FA ( Fernando Alonso ) kart which he distributes.
“Karting is my passion. It’s a lifestyle to me and I want to pass on my 20 years of karting success and race craft to others,” James explains.

10am till 6pm Monday to Friday and
9:30am to 2pm Saturday.
